Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Academy of Careers & Exploration). They blew past the PAL Academy Bulls, posting a 77-23 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagle as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Academy of Careers & Exploration's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for PAL Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Academy of Careers & Exploration will be home for the holidays to greet Excelsior Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for PAL Academy, they will welcome Lucerne Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. PAL Academy is facing Lucerne Valley at the right time seeing as Lucerne Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
