In what's become a running theme this season, the Hillsboro Burros gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Antioch 54-27 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Hillsboro sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Hillsboro's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Raigan Wiggins, who scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wiggins has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shinae Johnson, who scored 13 points.
Hillsboro has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Antioch, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.
Hillsboro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-37 win vs. McGavock on the 9th. Antioch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
