Yorktown is a perfect 10-0 against Hamilton Heights since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will take on the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. Yorktown is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
Yorktown is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They never let Connersville get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. Considering the Tigers have won 11 contests by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The result came thanks to Olivia Jones's shutout, as she gave up just two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Yorktown let Abbey Booher and Brooklyn Bartle run wild. Booher went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Bartle went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Olivia Jaromin, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, Hamilton Heights beat Jay County 3-0 on Wednesday.
The result came thanks to Lily Cash's shutout, as she gave up just a hit.
At the plate, McKenzie Jackson was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Melanee Forrester, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Yorktown's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Hamilton Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.
Yorktown skirted past Hamilton Heights 10-8 in their previous meeting back in April. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
