The LaFayette Bulldogs's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They came out on top against Reeltown by a score of 31-23. The victory was just what LaFayette needed coming off of a 57-28 defeat in their prior matchup.
Despite the defeat, Reeltown saw an underclassman step up: London O'Neal scored nine points along with nine rebounds and six blocks. O'Neal scored a full 39.1% of Reeltown's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chizyiah Riley, who scored four points along with 11 rebounds.
LaFayette's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Reeltown, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
LaFayette will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Reeltown, they will head out on the road to face off against Lanett at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lanett will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
