The Hesston Swathers scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They claimed a resounding  78-32 win over Lyons at home. Hesston has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five  contests by 22  points or more this season.
  Reed Friesen was  his usual excellent self,  scoring 30 points along with three  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Adrian Hernandez, who  scored ten points.
 Hesston's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Lyons, they bumped their record down to 3-5 with that  defeat, which was their fifth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Hesston will  square off against Riley County on Tuesday. Riley County has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1. Lyons will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Larned on Tuesday.
