In what's become a running theme this season, the Auburn Adventist Falcons gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 82-43 victory over Varsity Opponent. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Auburn Adventist has posted since December 14, 2023.
Auburn Adventist got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was John-Andrew Dubreuil out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dubreuil has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zachary Ellis, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Auburn Adventist's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.7 points per game. As for Varsity Opponent, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost 19 of their last 20 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 266-1016-2 record this season.
Auburn Adventist will look to defend their home court on Monday against Northwest Yeshiva at 5:30 p.m. Varsity Opponent won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Cumberland Christian Home Educators on January 18th.
