After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shepherd Hill Regional, Nashoba Regional was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Algonquin Regional Titans with a sharp 15-4 win. The Wolves' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Emily Bechara made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.
In other batting news, Nashoba Regional let Jenna Gael and Julia Smith run wild.
