Chatsworth and Lindsay squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Chatsworth had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 35-20 to the Lindsay Cardinals. The Chancellors' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Lindsay's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jose Cortes, who rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns. Cortes' rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 137 rushing yards. Ethan Cortes was another key rusher, rushing for 125 yards on only 11 carries.

Chatsworth's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Lindsay, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.

Chatsworth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lindsay, they will be playing at home against Moreau Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Moreau Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 27.7 points per game this season.
