The Aurora Greenmen will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the West Geauga Wolverines at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. Aurora will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Last Wednesday, Aurora didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Boardman, but they still walked away with a 41-36 win.
Meanwhile, West Geauga was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 45-44 to Kirtland.
Aurora has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for West Geauga, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-5.
Aurora came up short against West Geauga in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 42-34. Thankfully for Aurora, Alexa Hocevar (who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
