The Pender Patriots will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Pine Forest Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th.
Last Friday, Pender might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting East Columbus an easy 48-23 victory. Pender has not had much luck with East Columbus recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Pine Forest made easy work of Western Harnett last Friday and carried off a 28-5 victory. The victory was just what Pine Forest needed coming off of a 51-25 loss in their prior matchup.
Pender bumped their record down to 1-3 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.8 points per game. As for Pine Forest, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
