Softball Recap: Pitman Has No Trouble Against Wildwood

Pitman was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Wildwood on Wednesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 17-2 win. Considering the Panthers have won four matches by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Pitman's record now sits at 6-2. As for Wildwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pitman will square off against Williamstown at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wildwood, they will take on Gloucester Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
