Sikeston extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Londyn Mitchell. The Bulldogs came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Oran Eagles for which the team can thank Mitchell, who had 30 digs and nine aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.3 aces per game.

Sikeston had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 20-25, 25-20, 25-16, 15-6.

Sikeston's record is now 9-12-1. As for Oran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Sikeston has already played their next matchup (against Malden), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Oran, they will take on Meadow Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
