Last Friday, Lake Holcombe suffered a rough 80-58 defeat at the hands of New Auburn. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lake Holcombe in their matchups with New Auburn: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Flambeau's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 85-71 bruising from Winter. That's two games in a row now that Flambeau has lost by exactly 14 points.
Lake Holcombe has not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Flambeau, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
Lake Holcombe suffered a grim 59-38 defeat to Flambeau in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Lake Holcombe avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
