Grand View Christian won against Pella Christian last Thursday with 82 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Grand View Christian Thunder simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Saydel Eagles 82-45. The Thunder's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Grand View Christian's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.8 points. As for Saydel, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Grand View Christian and Treynor will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 3:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Treynor knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Grand View Christian likes a good challenge. As for Saydel, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Greene County at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
