After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Palmer Trinity, Pinecrest Prep was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past Archimedean, posting an 87-48 win. The Crocs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Pinecrest Prep was led to victory by Gabriel Guzman and Andy Garcia. Guzman dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 assists, while Garcia posted 19 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Guzman a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Darian Yglesias, who earned 11 points.

Pinecrest Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Archimedean, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.
