Fort Bend Christian Academy waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their contest with ease, bagging an 81-41 win over Emery/Weiner. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 28 points or more this season.

Several Emery/Weiner players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maddox Larner, who posted nine points. The dominant performance gave Larner a new career-high in points. Harper Scheinman was another key player, putting up nine points.

Fort Bend Christian Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-10. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.8 points per game. As for Emery/Weiner, they moved to 6-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Fort Bend Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 86-57 defeat against Second Baptist on the 14th. Emery/Weiner has also already played their next contest, a 54-38 win against Lutheran South Academy on the 16th.
