The Pen Argyl Green Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. They were the victim of a rough 62-37 loss at the hands of Bangor. Pen Argyl has struggled against Bangor recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Pen Argyl saw an underclassman step up: Mason Soos scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Soos has scored all season. Chase Kennedy was another key contributor, scoring five points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
Even though they lost, Pen Argyl were working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Pen Argyl's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Bangor, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Pen Argyl does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bangor, they will head out on the road to challenge Northwestern Lehigh at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
