The Walhalla Razorbacks stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Seneca 70-25 at home. Winning may never get old, but Walhalla sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Walhalla was led to victory by Kami Roach and Marnie Baxter. Roach scored 20 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Baxter scored 28 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Baxter has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Gianna Ortiz-Viera, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Seneca still got an impressive performance from Claire Eavenson, who scored 12 points along with four steals and two blocks.
Seneca struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Walhalla racked up 18 assists.
Walhalla is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Seneca, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-15.
Walhalla will head out on the road to challenge Pendleton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Averaging 56.67 points so far this season, Walhalla's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Pendleton better be ready for a challenge. As for Seneca, they will be playing at home against West-Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Seneca focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
