When it comes to explaining why Creekside lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dorian Hardy. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tim Gaulden, who scored 13 points along with 4 steals.
Creekside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lithia Springs, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.
Creekside will square off against Oxford at 8:30 p.m. on December 14th. Oxford presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Creekside in their respective states (Oxford is ranked 47th in Mississippi, while Creekside is ranked 444th in Georgia). As for Lithia Springs, they will play host again and welcome Tri-Cities, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Tri-Cities focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Tuesday.
