Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Heritage couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 50-49 to the Baldwin Braves. The Generals' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Baldwin had a senior duo take command as Janaye Walker almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine boards and Kassidy Neal went 8-for-19 en route to 19 points and eight rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Walker has scored at least a third of Baldwin's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinia Lawrence, who posted six points.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 24-7. As for Baldwin, they pushed their record up to 24-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Baldwin, they have already played their next game, a 62-55 win against Fayette County on the 28th.
