After losing to Fulton the last time they met, Sherman Oaks CES decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Sherman Oaks CES Knights were the clear victor by  an  18-3 margin over the Fulton Jaguars on Monday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Knights.
 Stella Brewer was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 14 batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   one  hit (and only one walk). Brewer was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Reagan Rosenthal, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-high in  RBI (three).  Reyn Campbell was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-1.
 Sherman Oaks CES  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .750. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .708 or higher in five consecutive  games  dating back to last season.
Sherman Oaks CES' record now sits at 2-0. As for Fulton,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-2.
 Coming up, Sherman Oaks CES will welcome Northridge Academy  at 2:30  p.m.  on March 24th. As for Fulton, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  19-7  loss against Community Charter on the 19th.
