While Era put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Valley View. The Hornets blew past the Eagles 30-0. Those 30 points were actually the fewest the Hornets have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The win keeps Era at an undefeated 5-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 41.0 points this season. As for Valley View, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Era and Valley View will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Hornets see the field they'll take on Santo at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for Valley View, their break will end when they face Henrietta at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
