Strathmore easily dispatched Corcoran last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Spartans fell just short of the Lindsay Cardinals by a score of  24-22 on Thursday. While the Spartans had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Cardinals  8-3.
 Isaiah Colunga threw for 40 yards  on six of 11 attempts.   Matthew Santizo was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards.  On the ground,  Noah Pavone rushed for 56 yards and two  TDs.
