Trinity Lutheran has gone a perfect 3-0 against Clarksville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cougars are taking a road trip to face off against the Generals at 5:30 p.m. Trinity Lutheran is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Trinity Lutheran made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Edinburgh, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cougars fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 8-6 on Monday.

Addie Burcham made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Zoey Dulaney also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Clarksville suffered their biggest loss since April 20, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 10-4 to Salem. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Kylie Raggard was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one triple and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Senior, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Trinity Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Clarksville, they dropped their record down to 5-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Trinity Lutheran has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Clarksville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Trinity Lutheran was able to grind out a solid victory over Clarksville when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 7-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
