Springfield Southeast posted their biggest victory since December 14, 2024 on Thursday. They breezed by the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers to the tune of 70-36. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 25 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Decatur Eisenhower still got an impressive performance from O'Niya Reed, who went 6 of 11 on her way to 16 points and six boards. Keshia Adger also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Springfield Southeast moved to 12-8 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak. As for Decatur Eisenhower, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Springfield Southeast will challenge Sacred Heart-Griffin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sacred Heart-Griffin will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Springfield Southeast surely won't give up without a fight. Decatur Eisenhower has already played their next game, a 68-35 defeat against Springfield on the 18th.
