The home team had come away the winner the last five times San Angelo Central and Odessa had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bobcats skirted past the Bronchos 35-32. The game was the first time the Bobcats have beaten the Bronchos on their field since October 6, 2017.
Frenship better keep an eye on Zeyvion Johnson. He was instrumental in San Angelo Central's win, rushing for 141 yards and one score on only 15 carries. Those 141 rushing yards gave Johnson a new career-high. Elijah Allen was another key player, rushing for 54 yards and one TD.

Frenship was able to grind out a solid victory over San Angelo Central in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, winning 51-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
