Hampton Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Bryce Harris, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 assists. Harris has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Sean O'Connor, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Portsmouth Christian pushed their score all the way to 60 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 69-60 to Isle of Wight Academy.
Hampton Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. As for Portsmouth Christian, they dropped their record down to 6-14 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Hampton Christian Academy took their victory against the Patriots when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 69-43.
