Volleyball Recap: Twinsburg Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Twinsburg extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 15-6. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the North Royalton Bears. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 4, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Taylor Pucky paced Twinsburg's offense, picking up 21 kills. Pucky got some help from Kelsey Williams and her 49 assists. Anna Popovic controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

As for North Royalton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. Bears fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Twinsburg since Tuesday.

When it comes to explaining why North Royalton lost, don't look at Kaitlyn Bryant. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and two aces. Alex Sutkowski also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Twinsburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Brecksville-Broadview Heights on the 9th. As for North Royalton, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Hudson on the 9th.
