In what's become a running theme this season, Apache Junction gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Dysart Demons  a   16-0 shutout. The  win was nothing new for Apache Junction as they're now sitting on four straight.
  Shaunna Harper was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Harper was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news, Apache Junction got a  massive  performance out of  Kylee Acton, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Acton is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games she's  played.  Danica Quirk was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Apache Junction now  has a winning record of 6-5. As for Dysart, they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-9.
 Apache Junction will have a chance to go back-to-back against Dysart: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday.
