Whitehall/Harrison may have come out ahead in their last game, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. They will challenge Sweet Grass County on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Whitehall/Harrison, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Whitehall/Harrison, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They walked away with a 27-13 victory. Senior Connor Johnson was the offensive standout of the match for they, as he picked up 129 yards on the ground and accumulated 183 passing yards. In fact, with 12 tackles Johnson was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Sweet Grass County didn't have too much trouble with Manhattan/Manhattan Christian last Friday as they won 24-7. The success made it back-to-back wins for Sweet Grass County.
Their wins bumped Whitehall/Harrison to 2-2 and Sweet Grass County to 2-0. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Whitehall/Harrison and Sweet Grass County clash.
