It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Kettering Captains ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Walled Lake Western and snuck past 55-53. The score was all tied up 25-25 at the break, but Kettering was the better team in the second half.
Kettering's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Diego Rocha, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 17 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nathan Bisnett, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
The victory got Kettering back to even at 1-1. As for Walled Lake Western, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
