It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Greater Miami Academy Warriors can now relate to. They took a serious blow against the Warriors on Tuesday, falling 88-46. While losing is never fun, Greater Miami Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 459th, while Westwood Christian is ranked 209th).
Leading Westwood Christian to victory were Ethan Taylor and William Nadaskay. Taylor scored 25 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Nadaskay dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nadaskay has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Michael Vilmenay, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and four steals.
Greater Miami Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Westwood Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
Greater Miami Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Westwood Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
