MAKAYLA DUKES had a dynamite game for Kingstree, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 15 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which DUKES has scored at least 25% of Kingstree's points. NAYDIA SHAW was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Lamar's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Kingstree, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lamar will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Lee Central at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. Lee Central is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Kingstree, they will head out on the road to face off against Johnsonville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
