Joyce Edwards continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Camden, dropping a double-double on 39 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Edwards has scored at least a third of Camden's points. Another player making a difference was Morgan Champion, who scored 19 points along with seven steals.
Marlboro County bumped their record down to 0-11 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Camden, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.
Marlboro County will head out on the road to face off against Darlington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Darlington is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games. Camden won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Clarksville Christian at 6:15 p.m. on January 20th. Clarksville Christian is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53.2 points per game.
