Wootton won the last time they faced Watkins Mill and things went their way on Friday too. The Wootton Patriots blew past the Watkins Mill Wolverines 61-16. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 32 points or more this season.

Wootton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Malia Bellamy out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Bellamy is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Maya Bellamy, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

Wootton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in six consecutive games.

The win got Wootton back to even at 6-6. As for Watkins Mill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
