The Hardee Wildcats had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They claimed a resounding 46-14 victory over Frostproof at home. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Hardee had established a 28 point advantage.
Hardee found their leader in underclassman Tylia Graham, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 steals. Graham is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed five or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jazlynn Jones, who scored five points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Hardee's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14. As for Frostproof, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
Hardee will take on the Red Devils at TBD on Monday. Avon Park comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. Frostproof does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
