Wingfield is on a three-game streak of home losses, Warren Central a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Wingfield Falcons will take on the Warren Central Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wingfield comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Last Thursday, Wingfield had to suffer through a rough 45-12 loss at the hands of Jim Hill. Wingfield was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-8.
They used a three-pronged attack on offense:
Simya Porter,
Katrina Collins, and
Zy'kyria Atkinson posted three points each.
Jayliah Shoto held things down on the boards with three rebounds.
Meanwhile, Warren Central was beaten by Murrah 52-16 on Thursday. Warren Central has not had much luck with Murrah recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Forest Hill's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Wingfield's loss dropped theirs to 0-4.
Wingfield came up short against Warren Central when the teams last played back in December of 2018, falling 56-47. Will Wingfield have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
