The Master's Academy Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Rockledge Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Master's Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Atlantic to the tune of 67-36 on Tuesday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 29 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Master's Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jasie Vellon, who posted 21 points. Those 21 points gave Vellon a new career-high. Kacey Hopkins was another key player, putting up 18 points.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Rockledge's strategy against Cocoa Beach on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Rockledge blew Cocoa Beach out of the water with a 51-19 final score. The Raiders pushed the score to 46-15 by the end of the third, a deficit the Minutemen had no chance of recovering from.
Rockledge's win came from a few key players Master's Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jazylle Bradley, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Bradley, who had 14 points and four steals.
Rockledge was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 0 assists per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 3.5.
Master's Academy pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points per game. As for Rockledge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-11.
Master's Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Rockledge when the teams last played back in January of 2024, winning 42-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Master's Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
