Roman Wilder's Big Game Leads Canterbury over Oasis Christian
Starting off the list is Canterbury's Roman Wilder, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Wilder rushed for 253 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. Those 253 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Canterbury pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Wilder and Canterbury will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakeside Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ahmad Crumity's big game helped extend Shorecrest Prep's winning streak to 19 on Friday. Crumity picked up 124 receiving yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended two passes.
Shorecrest Prep pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Crumity and Shorecrest Prep will welcome Hernando Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Shorecrest Prep picked up their 19th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Nickolas Bearden. Nobody could stop Bearden as he threw for 182 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 passes, and also rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Sports Leadership & Management's probably not too fond of Bearden given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Bearden saw the Spartans), he rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 116 yards and three touchdowns.

Mitchem Made His Presence Known in Shorecrest Prep's 63-0 Victory
Edward Mitchem's big game helped extend Shorecrest Prep's winning streak to 19 on Friday. Mitchem did his part (and then some), rushing for 112 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries for the 'W'. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defending two passes.
Sports Leadership & Management had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Mitchem it was a similar story. When Mitchem last faced the Spartans back in October of 2023, he rushed for 28 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown.

Mike Coffman Delivers Best Effort of Season
Lakeside Christian was led to victory by Mike Coffman, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Tuesday. Coffman picked up 105 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Lakeside Christian's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. Coffman's next matchup is against Canterbury on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.
