 Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Santa Cruz's offense. They lost  10-0 to Scotts Valley on Thursday. The  loss   continues a  trend for Santa Cruz in their matchups with Scotts Valley: they've now lost four in a row.
 Aptos' victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Santa Cruz, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
