Volleyball Recap: Pinecrest Academy Cadence Has No Trouble Against American Heritage Academy

Pinecrest Academy Cadence's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the American Heritage Academy Patriots. The Cougars not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 25, 2024.

While Pinecrest Academy Cadence won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 25-23.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence found their leader in freshman Cole Hardy, who had ten digs and three aces.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in March of 2024.

The win got Pinecrest Academy Cadence back to even at 1-1. As for American Heritage Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Mater Academy East Las Vegas on the 7th. After both having extra time off, American Heritage Academy and The Meadows School will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 4:30 p.m. on March 26th.
