The Lee Central Stallions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 47-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kingstree. Lee Central was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Kingstree apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Despite the loss, Lee Central still got an impressive performance from Chuck Harry, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Rjay Spann was another key contributor, scoring five points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Kingstree got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Micheal Kelly out in front who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Adarius Hilton, who scored nine points.
Lee Central has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season. As for Kingstree, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lee Central will take on Mullins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Mullins focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. As for Kingstree, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Marion at 7:30 p.m. Marion will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
