Affton came into Tuesday's contest having lost 11 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Seckman Jaguars on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Affton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-16.

Leading Affton to victory were Nathan Meyers and Levi Lawless. Meyers had 25 digs and three assists, while Lawless had 14 digs. Those 25 digs gave Meyers a new career-high.

Affton's victory bumped their record up to 3-14-1. As for Seckman, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.

Affton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Bayless on the 23rd. As for Seckman, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Parkway West on the 24th.
