Little River Academy took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Thrall, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bumblebees had just enough and edged out the Tigers 9-8. For the Bumblebees, this counts as revenge for the 17-7 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2019.

Little River Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season. As for Thrall, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 25-6-1.

Little River Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
