The Alisal Trojans won against the North Monterey County Condors last Friday with 76 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Alisal breezed by the Condors on the road to the tune of 76-39. Alisal has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 23 points or more this season.
Alisal's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adrian Cardenas, who dropped a triple-double on 14 points, ten rebounds, and 11 assists. Cardenas is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted eight or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Gregory Cabrera, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds.
Alisal is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for North Monterey County, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-14.
Alisal will take on the Mariners at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Marina's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last ten games.
