Brookfield hasn't had much luck against Harding recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Warriors will welcome the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Brookfield will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Brookfield is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Newton Falls with a sharp 19-4 win on Tuesday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Cassi Samios made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 5-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI.
In other batting news, Brookfield let Luciana Kolat and Madison Obermiyer run wild. Kolat went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base, while Obermiyer went 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave Obermiyer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mariah Norris, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Brookfield kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. They are 7-2 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Harding came up short against Canfield on Tuesday, falling 16-2.
Azarriah Phillips was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Brookfield has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Harding, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
Harding's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Brookfield has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11 hits per game. It's a different story for Harding, though, as they've been averaging 9.8 hits. Given Brookfield's sizable advantage in that area, the Raiders will need to find a way to close that gap.
