Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 7-2 Elmore County and 7-2 Valley (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 81.4% over those games). As for Central of Clay County, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Beauregard will head out on the road to face off against Jemison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jemison has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since August 24. As for Central of Clay County, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Russell County at 7:00 p.m. Russell County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 149th, while Central of Clay County is ranked 14th).
