Wellsville was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Columbiana apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.
Among those leading the charge was Liam Surgenavic, who rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Kian Hartley was in the mix too, providing Columbiana with two touchdowns.
Wellsville has traveled a rocky road this season, as they've lost eight of their first nine matchups, which gives them a 1-8 record this season. As for Columbiana, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.
