A Season-Best Performance from Demetrius Valadez Leads Castleberry over Life Waxahachie
On Thursday, Castleberry got the W thanks in part to Demetrius Valadez playing the best football he has all season. Valadez threw for 255 yards and five touchdowns while completing 85% of his passes, and also rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. Collier rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 223 yards and four touchdowns on only 19 passes the last time he and the Wildcats duked it out back in November of 2023.

Demarcus Belton and Co. Win Tenth in a Row
Alvarado picked up their tenth consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Demarcus Belton. Nobody could stop Belton as he rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 107 receiving yards. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 60 yards.
