Model made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cartersville, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Blue Devils never let the Hurricanes get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Tuesday. Considering Model have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Molly Allmon and Hennessy Reyes scored all three of Model's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

Model's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Cartersville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Looking ahead, Model will host Temple at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cartersville, they will venture away from home to face off against South Paulding at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cartersville will be up against South Paulding's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.57 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
